Cheryl Furjanic (Director) is an award-winning filmmaker who has been teaching documentary video production at NYU for over a decade. She worked as an associate producer on Judith Helfand & Daniel B. Gold’s Sundance award-winning documentary Blue Vinyl (HBO 2003). Her films have screened on television and at 100+ festivals nationwide. Cheryl holds a BFA from NYU – Tisch’s prestigious Film & Television School and a Masters degree from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program. Her first feature documentary, Sync or Swim (2008), screened at festivals nationwide and received numerous awards, including a Billie Award for Journalism from the Women’s Sports Foundation, and is now available on DVD.
