Alison Week

Alison Week is a documentary and narrative filmmaker from Hawai’i island. After almost a decade of working in Austin, TX where she shot and produced content for clients around the world including Facebook, NHK World, BBC Reel, NBC/Universal Op-Docs, and Verizon she decided to return home. She previously produced an hour-long international documentary called Fracking the Contract for environmental activists in Portugal with Issue Television. She also produced season 2 of a docu-series called Spotlight for a major international tech company for Present Medium. For her documentary film work, she has been invited to speak at SXSW, the Allied Media Conference, pitch her work at Good Pitch Local – Dallas, and participate in the PBS Young Producers Conference and the American Conservation Film Festival’s Producing Camp. Recently, she launched the Hawaiʻi Doc Club, a program to mentor and support emerging documentary filmmakers across the state of Hawaiʻi through online workshops.
