Artina Michelle

Artina Michelle is a Liberian American filmmaker raised in Philadelphia. She has eight years of experience in the film and commercial industry; her work has been featured on online publications, such as Indiewire, broadcasted and screened internationally. Artina was behind the camera for critically acclaimed projects like SPIRITUAL UPRISING (broadcasted by PBS) and DEAR PHILADELPHIA, a documentary that debuted at the Sundance Film Festival and screened at the San Francisco International Film Festival. She also participates in the Blackstar Film Festival community where her projects have been pitched and nominated for best picture. THIS TOO IS LIBERIA is Artina’s passion project and she is excited to bring Colloqua, the Liberian dialect, to the big screen.
