Beatriz Browne
Beatriz Browne is an Award-winning and Emmy-nominated Documentary Filmmaker. She has worked on award-winning documentary projects from inception to release for partners including HBO Max, Disney+, Hulu, The New York Times, CNN, Google, Airbnb, among others. Her films have also been supported by Cinema Eye Honors, Telluride Film Festival, DOCNYC, SFFilms Doc Stories, Webby Awards, IDA Doc Awards, Critics Choice Documentary Awards, among others.
Beatriz has produced a few films for the Academy Award®-winning company Breakwater Studios, was an Associate Producer for THE TRUTH ABOUT JIM (Imagine Documentaries), and is currently producing 3 feature documentaries with Kennedy/Marshall, Bad Robot, and Sutter Road Picture Company. Beatriz had her directorial debut in 2021 with her film 34 CARMINE ST., an award winning short documentary.
Born in Brazil but raised in China and the UAE, Beatriz is able to tell stories from all over the world, in addition to speaking 4 languages fluently. Her stories are often character-centric, resonating with a global audience.
