Bijoyini Chatterjee
Ms. Chatterjee is an independent documentary filmmaker and co-producer of Onirica Productions. Her first feature documentary was Flamenco Syndrome – about the deeply rooted gypsy folk music of Lower Andalucia (Spain). Flamenco Syndrome was screened at multiple venues such as Northwest Film Forum (Seattle, WA), Clinton Street Cinema (Portland, OR), Bisbee Royale (Bisbee, AZ), Charlotte Street Artists Collective (Kansas City, MO) and other venues in the US before the global pandemic hit. In addition to Exodus, she is working on a short film “Conference of the Birds” which looks at the journey eight exceptional dancers take to reinterpret a beloved 12th century Persian Sufi eponymous poem.
She was a co-producer for the short documentary “Los Raíces de Nuestro Futuro (The Roots of our Future)” about a unique intercultural bilingual university located deep in the Peruvian Amazon.
While living in Boston, Chatterjee has collaborated visually with several artists-in-residence at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and was the associate producer for Community Supported Films.
Chatterjee has filmed for Los Angeles based director/producer Laura Carlson on her award winning series — Beyond Barriers, The Road to Wellbeing and was the associate producer for Community Supported Films (Boston, USA.
