David Helfant

David A. Helfant has extensive experience representing major motion picture studios and television, film and video production companies, as well as working with record producers, recording artists, songwriters, and record and publishing companies. David’s clients have included Columbia Pictures, The Walt Disney Company, Lucasfilm, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Doug Weston’s Troubadour, as well as performers such as Slash, Van Halen, Teddy Pendergrass, Alice Cooper, Stanley Clarke, Rufus, Jackson Browne, Danny Kortchmar, and Waddy Wachtel, and others David is currently involved in producing several music documentaries and has worked on over 200 motion picture and TV projects, functioning as an Executive Producer, Producer, Music Supervisor, or Production Legal, including acting as Senior Vice President for the Music Business & Legal Affairs Department at Paramount Pictures.
