George Gilbert

George Gilbert has worked in the music business for fifty-six years with the first sixteen at positions that included major market radio station music director, concert promoter and major label executive, For the last forty years he has been an Intellectual Property attorney specializing in Entertainment with a concentration in Music. He has represented international superstars including LL Cool J, Mary J Blige, Britney Spears, managed Meat Loaf conceiving the multi-platinum album Bat Out of Hell II and playing an integral part in the reunion of Sixties Supergroup Cream.  He has worked closely with the beneficiaries of Iconic group “The Band: and those of Laura Nyro and co-produced “Laura Nyro – Go Find The Moon (The Audition Tape)(2022)” and “Trees of the Ages: Laura Nyro Live in Japan(2022)”.

His film work includes representing David Johansen aka Buster Poindexter in the 2022 Martin Scorsese directed documentary “Personality Crisis: One Night Only” and representing Producers Sam Pollard and Ashley Kahn on the 2023 Carlos Santana documentary “Carlos”.
