George Lerner is an Emmy®-nominated broadcast journalist who came to documentary after years in broadcast journalism, producing for CNN, Al Jazeera America, ABC Nightline, and various PBS public affairs programs. He has recently been directing his first feature documentary on civil rights in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas.
