Jeff Hoffman
Jeff is the founder and CEO of the entertainment production company—Above the Clouds (ATC). ATC’s focus is the development, packaging, and production of feature and documentary films and TV shows including a current slate of 10 projects. Jeff was the lead producer of LANSKY (2021), based on the true story about the famous mastermind gangster Meyer Lansky, starring Harvey Keitel, Sam Worthington, John Magaro and Minka Kelly, distributed by Vertical, reaching #1 on Amazon Prime, and sold globally by Voltage. He was also co-lead producer on the dramatic film SPIDER & JESSIE about two daughters who are afraid to be put into foster care after their mother dies of an opioid overdose, so they hide her body in the shed and try to pretend life is normal – until they can’t. Starring Mckenna Grace, Jojo Regina, Jesse Williams, Dacre Montgomery and Forrest Goodluck in final post-production. Jeff is currently producing three documentaries, one on the youth climate activism movement in the US, another on a story of the country Uruguay winning a legal case against the tobacco industry, and a profile of an Israeli soccer star turned criminal turned prisoner turned escapee. He is also Executive Producer of several feature and short films including the award-winning South-African Western-inspired film FIVE FINGERS FOR MARSEILLES. Jeff also holds an M.A. in Family Studies from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.
