Jess Pinkham is a creative producer interested in exploring slyly political topics. Most recently she worked as a field producer on the pilot and seasons 1, 2, and 3 of the hit HBO series How To With John Wilson. She has many years of experience working as a stills photographer – including on Beasts of the Southern Wild – and in the art department, notably on the Daniels’ early music video Simple Math. She is currently working on a portrait series of postal workers, while developing a documentary series exploring the impact of Venmo and the stories money can tell with Zara Meerza, Leah Giblin, Lana Swartz, and Max Geller. “Footprint of Freedom,” a short she produced for Tom Rosenberg, screened at the Festival of (In)Appropriation in October 2022.
