Kyle Pyatt

Kyle Pyatt is a DP, editor and colorist based in St. Louis, Missouri. His previous work includes the non-fiction short ROCKPILE, which premiered at the 2018 Big Sky Documentary Film Festival. He was also a cinematographer for A DEBTOR’S PRISON, which screened at the Camden International Film Festival and AFI’s Meet the Press Film Festival.

In St. Louis he works as a camera operator and editor for Newsy Documentaries, which produces documentary programming for television and streaming platforms. At Newsy he has contributed to dozens of projects, including the National Edward R. Murrow Award-winning short WALKOUT.

Kyle is an alumnus of the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism, where in 2017 he graduated from the inaugural class of the Jonathan B. Murray Center for Documentary Journalism.
