Liz Witham

After receiving a Masters Degree in Film and Video Production from Stanford University, Liz returned to her native Martha’s Vineyard and co-founded Film-Truth Productions with her husband. She has directed, produced and edited films that have screened at festivals nation-wide. Her film Precipice was nominated for a Student Academy Award. She co-produced and directed A Certain Kind of Beauty, which was chosen as one of two American films to premiere in a strand on Global Health chaired by President Jimmy Carter at Silverdocs. Her work has appeared on online sites including The Huffington Post, Grammys.com, Boston Globe, New England Film, AOL Health and Apple’s website. She was recently honored with the prestigious Humanitarian Service Award from the Alumni Council at Kenyon College.
