Mariko Munro
Mariko Munro has been working across the documentary, scripted, and fine art spaces for over a decade. Her debut feature MILKSHAKE premiered in the 2013 Sundance NEXT and sold to Phase 4 Films. Since 2015 Munro has contributed to Sesame Street, and earned an Emmy Nomination for “The Amazing Song – Sesame and Autism”. Since 2020 Munro has been a freelance Line Producer for Story Syndicate while also producing the independent film NAM JUNE PAIK: MOON IS THE OLDEST TV which premiered in Doc Competition at Sundance 2023 and sold to Greenwich Entertainment and PBS American Masters. Munro is currently in production on a Documentary Feature with Monkeypaw Productions.
Prior to her work in film Munro was director of 303 Gallery, New York and she continues to produce work for artists including Nikita Gale, Cauleen Smith, and Stan Douglas.
