Mary Recine is an award-winning producer of documentary films, television series, and cultural programs. Her work has been recognized with three Peabody Awards, multiple Emmy Award nominations, and has premiered at Sundance, Berlin, Tribeca, the New York Film Festival and MoMA. She is best known for producing the Netflix Original documentary JOAN DIDION: THE CENTER WILL NOT HOLD, directed by Joan’s nephew Griffin Dunne, and for her work as archival producer of the Academy Award nominated WHAT HAPPENED, MISS SIMONE?
