Megan Carroll

Megan Carroll is a writer-director based in Los Angeles whose work includes both fiction and nonfiction. She’s driven by the desire to tell stories that elevate marginalized voices—particularly those of female, queer, and working class characters—through the lens of different genres. She strives to craft women who find their voices and learn to harness their strength in order to stand up for themselves against the forces that oppress them. She believes in the power of film as a tool for social change and aspires to create stories that make audience members feel less alone.
