Peadar King

Peadar King is a documentary filmmaker specializing in human rights and is also a non-fiction writer. For the past twenty years, he has filmed in over fifty countries across Africa, Asia and The Americas for the award-winning Irish television series WHAT IN THE WORLD? Examples of his work include BLACK DEATH IN DIXIE (USA), THREE YEARS, EIGHT MONTHS AND TWENTY DAYS IN KAMPUCHEA (Cambodia); DEATH AND LIFE IN SOMALIA; MASS MURDER IN MEXICO (Mexico). He is also the author of the recently (2020) published WAR, SUFFERING, AND THE STRUGGLE FOR HUMAN RIGHTS (The Liffey Press).
