Rebecca Prime is an independent producer and writer. A graduate of NYU’s Program in Culture and Media, she has taught in Harvard’s Sensory Ethnography program and holds a PhD in Cinema and Media Studies from UCLA. She is the author of the award-winning Hollywood Exiles in Europe: the Blacklist and Cold War Film Culture and the recipient of grants and fellowships from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Fulbright program. The former Editor of Film Quarterly, her writing has appeared in publications including The Los Angeles Times and The Washington Post.
