Shawn Dailey
Shawn Dailey is a producer, talent manager, and former touring musician with over two decades of experience across the music and entertainment industries. He got his start as a bassist, touring nationally by age 17 before signing with Warner Bros. Records as a member of Rock Kills Kid, for whom he co-wrote the Top 10 hit “Paralyzed.” From there, he spent eight years touring and recording with Hole during Courtney Love’s post-grunge revival, and along the way collaborated with artists ranging from Tommy Lee and Ice-T to blink-182 and Eminem.
That musical foundation has since carried over into a career as a documentary producer. Shawn’s credits include the award-winning Take Me to the River, a celebration of Memphis’s musical legacy; Citizen Penn, which chronicles Sean Penn’s decade of humanitarian work in Haiti; and Linda Perry: Let It Die Here, a raw portrait of the legendary songwriter and producer.
He now also works as a talent manager, representing Jerry Harrison of Talking Heads alongside Anthony Bozza, the New York Times best-selling author known for his music memoirs with Slash, Wyclef Jean, Mick Fleetwood, and others. Across all three roles, Shawn’s work continues to bridge music, storytelling, and artist advocacy.
