ADVENTURES IN PETERLAND: A MYSTERY OF ART AND LOVE is about the bond between the filmmaker, Myra Paci, and retired British pathologist and art collector Peter Bullough: her artistic mentor, queer uncle, and heartthrob since childhood. As Peter launches an artists’ residency in his two adjacent homes in small-town Virginia, the film explores dandyism both male and female, love and betrayal, illness and mortality, and the healing potential of art.
