DIVINE DEVIANCE’s Kink Is My Superpower is an exciting new multi-media documentary project by, about, and for the Kink/BDSM/Fetish communities, which will showcase the diversity of human sexuality and the creation of alternative families. To our knowledge, this is the first comprehensive documentary that takes an in-depth look at Kink / BDSM / Fetish globally and is neither exploitative nor speculative but honest and truthful.

The film series and ongoing book project are based on the intimate, personal narratives of self-identifying kinky people around the world. With hundreds of surveys as a starting point, and follow-up video interviews of respondents, we have included a broad intersection of backgrounds, nationalities, genders, ages, and kink practices to be covered in the project.

The Kink Is My Superpower series of short, 20-30 minute films will each highlight one or two people in a deep “fly-on- the-wall” documentation of the beautiful and powerful truths of their lives, kinks, feelings and insights.

The Kink Is book anthology was released from Unbound Edition Press in September 2024, and contains a foreword by actress and comedian Margaret Cho. The book showcases over 100 people, through their own words and images – drawn from the surveys and interviews. We are currently working on the second book in the series.
