DIVINE DEVIANCE’s Kink Is My Superpower is an exciting new multi-media documentary project by, about, and for the Kink/BDSM/Fetish communities, which will showcase the diversity of human sexuality and the creation of alternative families.
The Kink Is My Superpower series of short, 20-30 minute films will each highlight one or two people in a deep “fly-on- the-wall” documentation of the beautiful and powerful truths of their lives, kinks, feelings, and insights.
The Divine Deviance team authored the acclaimed book, KINK IS: An Anthology of Surprisingly Relatable True Stories About Sex, Power, and Joy, and the vast range of authentic representation the book embraces will be reflected in the series .
The film project will be the first comprehensive documentary series that takes an in-depth look at Kink/BDSM/Fetish globally and is neither exploitative nor speculative but honest and truthful. Just like the book, it is based on the intimate, personal narratives of self-identifying kinky people around the world from a broad intersection of backgrounds, nationalities, genders, ages, and kink practices.
