DIVINE DEVIANCE’s Kink Is My Superpower is an exciting new multi-media documentary project by, about, and for the Kink/BDSM/Fetish communities, which will showcase the diversity of human sexuality and the creation of alternative families. To our knowledge, this is the first comprehensive documentary project that takes an in-depth look at Kink / BDSM / Fetish globally and is neither exploitative nor speculative but honest and truthful.

DIVINE DEVIANCE’s Kink Is My Superpower is both a film series and a book anthology, based on the intimate, personal narratives of self-identifying kinky people around the world. With hundreds of surveys as a starting point, and follow-up video interviews of respondents, we have included a broad intersection of backgrounds, nationalities, genders, ages, and kink practices to be covered in the project.

DIVINE DEVIANCE’s Kink Is My Superpower series of short, 20-30 minute films will each highlight one or two people in a deep “fly-on- the-wall” documentation of the beautiful and powerful truths of their lives, kinks, feelings and insights.

DIVINE DEVIANCE’s Kink Is My Superpower book anthology is scheduled for release from Unbound Edition Press in September 2024, and will contain a foreword by actress and comedian Margaret Cho. The book will showcase approximately 100 people, through their own words and images – drawn from the surveys and interviews.
