Ryan is a 35-year old from Los Angeles. To the outside world, he’s an example of tremendous success. But like all of us, Ryan wants to be seen as a full and complex human. Despite the superficial markers of success, he longs for deeper connection to the people who mean the most to him and hopes that strengthening those relationships can become a catalyst for self improvement. Most importantly, he dreams of building a family of his own and sees this chapter as the opportunity to prepare himself for whenever that day comes.

At the beginning of the pandemic, Ryan is inspired to do something creative and impactful. He comes up with the idea that he will complete bucket list activities with close family and friends as a way to explore what it means to be human. Follow the story as Ryan seeks healing and learning in his most intimate relationships. As the journey unfolds, it prompts everyone to ask—does this count as therapy?”
