Strange things are happening in the village of Bodega Bay, mysterious lights, the ground shakes and animals behave strangely. Could it be the Hollywood film crew working on Hitchcock’s new film, The Birds or is something more sinister happening? When a local waitress overhears the words, “nuclear power plant” the battle begins as a feisty group of locals fight to stop a giant energy corporation building a nuclear reactor in the most dangerous location possible.
The hole that Pacific Gas and Electric dug in the Bodega Head before the project was stopped is overgrown but still clearly visible from space and stands as a terrifying warning to all that when energy corporations collude with governments while ignoring the warnings of scientists, the losers are potentially all of us. It is our hope that this film will add inspiration and tactics to todays enlightened citizens to continue the fight for our planet. Our future depends on it.
