WHAT’S THE BIG DEAL? is set within the high tech economy of global entrepreneurial culture. The film follows three ambitious, talented migrant entrepreneurs – two men from Spain, a woman from Turkey – who have launched startups in Silicon Valley, the Mecca for high tech dreamers from all over the world. But with a failure rate of 99.6%, their chances of survival are minimal, and each of these entrepreneurs are additionally challenged by immigration, capital, and family. Still, each is willing to risk everything, including their families, in order to chase their dreams.
