Choreographer Stephen Petronio burst onto the scene capturing the zeitgeist of a pivotal time in our shared history, as AIDS decimated gay communities and the country remained unresponsive. With unabashed sexuality and sensuality, Stephen exploded the parameters of concert dance in a powerful response to the world around him. Now, 40 years later, with the arts and gay and trans rights under attack, he leads his company to their final performances. But Stephen will never stop creating. Telling his story now couldn’t be timelier.
