Our monthly virtual Lunch + Learn sessions each focus on a different timely topic, and give members a chance to listen, learn, and ask questions. 'Strengthening Community Engagement' with Working Films!

March's Lunch + Learn will be with Working Films, an organization that helps position documentaries to advance social justice and environmental protection. In this session they will explain how they work with filmmakers, grassroots groups and NGOs to move films' missions forward, and will also talk best practices in strengthening community engagement. 'Crowdfunding To Build Independence' with Seed&Spark!
February 15th @ 12pm - 1pm ET
March 6th @ 3pm - 4pm ET(12pm - 1pm PT)
We all have amazing films to make, but finding the money to make them (and the audience to watch them) can be challenging. Seed&Spark is a filmmaker-focused crowdfunding platform created to boost the career-building power of crowdfunding for creators. In this intro session, Seed&Spark Head of Education Julie Keck will touch on the basics of audience building, crowdfunding project set-up, campaign communication, and more. Bring your questions!
