Ryan Mah

Ryan Mah is a filmmaker based in Vancouver, Canada. A founding member of award-winning
production company Black Rhino Creative, he has 10 years of extensive background
experience in documentary productions that have screened on CBC, AMI TV, Telus Optik, Air
Canada and SBS Australia. Recently he co-directed the fourth season of a travel series for
Canada’s AMI channel called “Postcards from…”

Alongside his producing partners Danny Berish, Joanna Wong and Leah Mallen he will direct
the three-part series “Seeking Saltwater City” for Knowledge Network that will focus on
Canada’s Chinese diaspora.
