WAYNE WONG, a total unknown who became one of the fathers of freestyle skiing, helped pioneer the sport with “hot-dogging” on the hill . This enigmatic Canadian skier went on to become a legend in the world of winter sports and Wayne became part of a movement that drew huge crowds and disrupted the ski industry. Now in his 70s he can witness what he has done for the modern day sport as freestyle is now such an iconic part of winter sports. Wayne still influences and inspires on the hill as he maintains his skills with passion, pleasure and fun. This feature documentary will look back on those early days of freestyle and how Wayne Wong has left his indelible mark on the sport.
